Which platforms are supported?

Wawata is on the App Store for iOS. The Google Play listing for Android is coming soon.

Where is my data stored?

On your phone, in the app’s private storage. We do not host your journal on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

What’s included in Free vs Pro?

Free: up to three wishes and the Whero accent. Pro: unlimited wishes, all seven Māori accents, photos, Journey Insights, sharing, and export. See the pricing table.

How do I cancel Pro?

iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wawata → Cancel.
Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Wawata → Cancel. You keep Pro until the current period ends.

How do I delete all my wishes?

In the app: You tab → Danger zone → Erase all wishes. Uninstalling the app also removes local data.

How do I restore a purchase?

You tab → Subscription → Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy Pro.
